Student Counseling Services

New Event Planning Process

We are excited to announce that the new online Event Planning process is up and running! To submit an Event Planning form, you no longer need a paper form. Under your student organization's profile on StuAct Online, there is now a link to the online form under the "Resources" tab on the right side of the page. You can also directly access the Event Planning Form here.


AggieServe

AggieServe is an online outreach project established to bring non-profit organizations and community agencies in the Bryan and College Station area together with campus volunteers. This online database currently contains around 100 community agency profiles and various short-term or on-going volunteer opportunities. Individual students as well as student groups can use AggieServe to search for volunteer opportunities. To search for volunteer opportunities, visit AggieServe.

Aggie Visionaries Fall Lecture Series

Aggie Visionaries is a student lecture series that allows student artists from various departments to present on topics related to their cultural heritage, field of study, Aggie experience and art.

Maroon Out Shirts

Class Councils' Maroon Out Committee is gearing up for its 2008 Maroon Out season. With a new design but the traditional $5 price, Ags everywhere can enjoy Maroon Out again in 2008. The 2008 design and information can be found online at http://maroonout.tamu.edu Sales will begin on Monday, August 25 with sales occurring:

• Mon-Fri from 10am-3pm on home game weeks in the MSC/Rudder Breezeway
• Saturday home gameday sales in GRW


Singing Cadet Auditions

The second oldest student organization on campus is looking for its newest members.  Since 1983, the Singing Cadets have been ambassadors for Texas A&M.  The singing cadets perform 60-70 concerts each year across the State of Texas, throughout the country, and often around the world.  Membership ranges from All-State Choir members to guys who just like to sing for fun.  The Singing Cadets invite you to audition and help represent the best university in the world!  Auditions are August 25th-27th in the MSC room 003. Conference on Extended Orientation Programs

The Texas A&M Extended Orientation and Involvement Team and the Texas A&M Extended Orientation Programs (Howdy Camp, Fish Camp and Transfer Camp) will be hosting a Conference on Extended Orientation Programs Friday, November 21 - Sunday, November 23, 2008 on the Texas A&M University College Station campus.

The mission of the StrengthsQuest™ program at Texas A&M is to facilitate participants’ achievement of academic, career, and personal success through the identification, development, and utilization of their top 5 strengths. In the 2006-2007 academic year, a little over 1500 students participated in a Strengths program.
